To adhere to scripture, there are certain garments that I will not alter unless they are being alter to comply with scripture.  This includes but is not limited to, Shorts, Tank Tops, Spaghetti Straps (Unless Replacement is needed), Prom Gowns, Women's Pants, Sheer Clothing, Sheer Fabric (unless lining is being added), and Mini Skirts/Dresses (Above the Knee).

All prices are starting prices. Final pricing is determined after the garment is inspected and fitted.

SKIRTS

  • Basic hem — $20+
  • Lined skirt hem — $30+
  • Full, flared or pleated skirt hem — $35+
  • Formal or multilayer skirt hem — $45+
  • Take in or let out waist — $25+
  • Take in sides — $25+
  • Replace elastic waistband — $25+
  • Replace skirt zipper — $35+
  • Add or replace lining — $45+
  • Palazzo Pants to Modest Skirt Conversion — $40+

DRESSES

  • Basic dress hem — $30+
  • Lined dress hem — $35+
  • Full or flared dress hem — $45+
  • Formal or multilayer dress hem — $60+
  • Take in or let out sides — $35+
  • Adjust waist or bodice — $35+
  • Shorten or adjust straps — $15+
  • Shorten sleeves — $25+
  • Add sleeves — $50+
  • Replace dress zipper — $40+
  • Add or replace lining — $50+

MODESTY ALTERATIONS

  • Close or raise a low neckline — $25+
  • Add a modesty panel — $25+
  • Add fabric to lengthen a dress or skirt — $35+
  • Add lining for additional coverage — $45+
  • Add sleeves to a sleeveless garment — $50+
  • Close a high slit — $20+
  • Add snaps or hook-and-eye closures — $10+
  • Custom modesty reconstruction — Quoted after consultation

BLOUSES, SHIRTS & TOPS

  • Shorten garment — $20+
  • Take in sides — $25+
  • Shorten sleeves — $20+
  • Taper sleeves — $30+
  • Adjust shoulders — $35+
  • Adjust neckline — $25+
  • Add darts for shaping — $20+

MEN'S PANTS

  • Basic pant hem — $20+
  • Cuffed pant hem — $25+
  • Original jean hem — $25+
  • Take in or let out waist — $30+
  • Taper pant legs — $35+
  • Replace zipper — $35+
  • Repair pockets — $15+

MEN'S SHIRTS & JACKETS

  • Shorten shirt sleeves — $20+
  • Take in shirt sides — $30+
  • Shorten jacket sleeves — $40+
  • Take in jacket sides — $45+
  • Replace jacket lining — $75+
  • Other suit or jacket alterations — Quoted after fitting

REPAIRS

  • Replace button — $5 each
  • Minor seam repair — $15+
  • Repair small tear or hole — $15+
  • Add patch — $15+
  • Repair zipper — $15+
  • Replace standard zipper — $35+
  • Replace invisible zipper — $40+
  • Replace coat or heavy-duty zipper — $55+

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

  • Lace, beading, or delicate fabrics — Additional fee
  • Multiple layers or heavy fabric — Additional fee
  • Fabric, zippers, lining, and other materials — Not included unless stated
  • Rush service, when available — 30% additional
  • Custom clothing and major garment reconstruction — Priced separately

PLEASE NOTE

Garments must be clean before alterations are accepted.

Customers should bring the shoes and undergarments they plan to wear with the garment to their fitting.

Prices may increase depending on the garment’s construction, fabric, lining, embellishments and the amount of work required.

A final quote will be provided before work begins.
