Mail-In Alterations

Not local? No problem. Modestly Made Clothing & Alterations, LLC offers mail-in alteration services throughout the United States.

We provide alterations such as hemming, zipper replacements, sleeve and waist adjustments, repairs, men’s pants hemming, and modesty modifications including lengthening garments, raising necklines, adding panels, and closing slits.

How It Works

1. Complete the mail-in alteration request form.
2. Upload clear photos and provide the requested measurements and details.
3. Your request will be reviewed within approximately 72 hours.
4. Once approved, you’ll receive a price estimate, packing instructions, and a prepaid shipping label.
5. Pack your garment, attach the label, and drop it off with the approved carrier.
6. Once your garment arrives, we’ll inspect it before beginning the work.
7. After your alterations are complete, we’ll ship your garment back to you.

Please do not ship your garment until you receive your shipping label and instructions.

Shipping

We provide the shipping label to send your garment to us and the return label to send it back to you. Shipping costs will be included in your invoice, and tracking information will be provided.

Before You Send Your Garment

Garments must be clean and free of stains, odors, and pet hair.

Please provide accurate measurements, as there will be no in-person fitting. Some bridal, formal, highly fitted, or complex alterations may not be suitable for mail-in service.

Turnaround times vary depending on the garment and work required. An estimated completion date will be provided after we receive and inspect your garment.

We provide the label. You send the garment. We return it modestly restored.
